About
Discover how a creepy 3 AM kitchen noise transformed into an expressive, fast-paced 3D animated comedy-horror short exploring identity, suspense, and stolen late-night pizza.
The 3 AM Mystery
An eerie 3 AM sound turns routine midnight cravings into an unexpected, high-energy showdown between identical strangers over pizza.
The project follows a tired young man waking to mysterious crunching noises echoing beneath his bedroom furniture at 3 AM. Expecting a terrifying phantom, he instead confronts an identical duplicate of himself unapologetically devouring cold leftover pizza.
Rendered in vertical 9:16 mobile format, the short fuses high-contrast cinematic lighting and dramatic shadows with fluid physical comedy. Expressive facial animation amplifies the escalating dread, flipping instant terror into an energetic, comedic confrontation.
Suspenseful musical cues combine with synchronized dialogue and punchy sound design to pace the rapid fifty-second runtime. The production balances genuine spooky tension against lighthearted absurdity to keep viewers entertained through the final twist.
